ISBC – Participation and Event Terms
for paid in-person, online and hybrid events

1. Scope and conclusion of contract
The organizer is ISBC, Faulenbruchstr. 102, 52159 Roetgen, Germany, email: contact@impactful-change.de, unless another organizer is named in the specific offer. The contract is concluded upon booking confirmation, ticket delivery or payment confirmation.
2. Eligibility and tickets
A ticket entitles only the named or validly transferred person to participate. Proof of identity or age may be requested where objectively necessary. Transfer is permitted only for non-commercial purposes unless ticket-specific terms provide otherwise.
3. Prices and payment
The total prices shown during booking apply. Payment may be made via Stripe or bank transfer. If payment fails, there is no right of admission unless another payment arrangement has been agreed.
4. Withdrawal and cancellation
For events scheduled for a specific date or period, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded pursuant to § 312g(2) no. 9 BGB. Any voluntary cancellation rights, deadlines and fees are set out in the ticket offer. Without a special rule, there is no contractual cancellation right; however, a suitable substitute participant may be named unless there are objective reasons against this.
5. Program and speaker changes
Reasonable changes to schedule, rooms, speakers or program items remain reserved. Substitute speakers must be professionally suitable. In the event of a material change, participants may withdraw within a reasonable period and receive a refund where no reasonable equivalent participation option is offered.
6. Minimum attendance and cancellation by organizer
If an announced minimum number of participants is not reached, the event may be cancelled or postponed. Ticket fees already paid will be refunded or rebooked on request. Additional expenses, especially travel and hotel costs, are reimbursed only where ISBC is legally responsible or has expressly agreed to cover them.
7. Force majeure
In cases of force majeure, official measures, natural events, strikes, war, epidemics, serious illness of key contributors, failure of critical infrastructure or comparable uncontrollable circumstances, the event may be postponed, modified or cancelled. ISBC will seek replacement dates, online alternatives or proportionate refunds.
8. House rules and conduct
Participants must follow safety instructions, venue rules and reasonable standards of conduct. Discriminatory, dangerous, harassing or seriously disruptive behavior is prohibited. In serious cases, participants may be excluded.
9. Health and physical activities
Participation in movement, sports or health-related elements is at each participant’s own responsibility and must take personal limitations into account. Acute symptoms, pregnancy, illnesses or other risks should be disclosed to the responsible trainer in advance. No medical fitness assessment is performed.
10. Photography, film and audio
Participants may not record complete talks, workshops or confidential contributions without permission. The organizer will inform participants about its own photo and video recordings. Personalized promotional recordings are used only on an appropriate legal basis.
11. Online and hybrid participation
Participants are responsible for their own device, internet access and local technical setup. Access credentials may not be shared.
12. Content and usage rights
Slides, working materials and recordings may be used only for personal or internal purposes. Publication, redistribution and commercial use require prior consent.
13. Liability and cloakroom
The liability provisions in the Terms & Conditions apply. Liability for cloakroom items and personal belongings exists only where required by law.
14. Privacy
Processing of booking, payment and event data is governed by the Privacy Policy. Stripe and other communication or event service providers may be involved as necessary.
15. Final provisions
The general Terms & Conditions apply in addition. Mandatory consumer protection rules remain unaffected.
